Then they that feared The LORD spake often one to another: and The LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him for them that feared The LORD, and that thought upon His name.

Psalm 128
Blessed is every one that feareth The LORD;
that walketh in His ways.
For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands:
happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.
Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine
by the sides of thine house:
thy children like olive plants
round about thy table.
Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed
that feareth The LORD.
The LORD shall bless thee out of Zion:
and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem
all the days of thy life.
Yea, thou shalt see thy children's children,
and peace upon Israel.

Psalm 127
Except The LORD build the house,
they labour in vain that build it:
except The LORD keep the city,
the watchman waketh but in vain.
It is vain for you to rise up early,
to sit up late,
to eat the bread of sorrows:
for so He giveth His beloved sleep.
Lo, children are an heritage of The LORD:
and the fruit of the womb is His reward.
As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man;
so are children of the youth.
Happy is the man
that hath his quiver full of them:
they shall not be ashamed,
but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

Psalm 124
If it had not been The LORD who was on our side,
now may Israel say;
If it had not been The LORD who was on our side,
when men rose up against us:
Then they had swallowed us up quick,
when their wrath was kindled against us:
Then the waters had overwhelmed us,
the stream had gone over our soul:
Then the proud waters
had gone over our soul.
Blessed be The LORD,
who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth.
Our soul is escaped as a bird
out of the snare of the fowlers:
the snare is broken,
and we are escaped.
Our help is in the name of The LORD,
who made heaven and earth.

Psalm 122
I was glad when they said unto me,
Let us go into the house of The LORD.
Our feet shall stand
within thy gates, O Jerusalem.
Jerusalem is builded as a city
that is compact together:
Whither the tribes go up,
the tribes of The LORD,
unto the testimony of Israel,
to give thanks unto the name of The LORD.
For there are set thrones of judgment,
the thrones of the house of David.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
they shall prosper that love thee.
Peace be within thy walls,
and prosperity within thy palaces.
For my brethren and companions' sakes,
I will now say, Peace be within thee.
Because of the house of The LORD our GOD
I will seek thy good.

Psalm 121
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills,
from whence cometh my help.
My help cometh from The LORD,
which made heaven and earth.
He will not suffer thy foot to be moved:
He that keepeth thee will not slumber.
Behold, He that keepeth Israel
shall neither slumber nor sleep.
The LORD is thy keeper:
The LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.
The sun shall not smite thee by day,
nor the moon by night.
The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil:
He shall preserve thy soul.
The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in
from this time forth, and even for evermore.

Psalm 117
O praise The LORD, all ye nations:
praise Him, all ye people.
For His merciful kindness is great toward us:
and the truth of The LORD endureth for ever.
Praise ye The LORD.

Psalm 116
I love the LORD, because He hath heard my voice
and my supplications.
Because He hath inclined His ear unto me,
therefore will I call upon Him as long as I live.
The sorrows of death compassed me,
and the pains of hell gat hold upon me:
I found trouble and sorrow.
Then called I upon the name of The LORD;
O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.
Gracious is The LORD, and righteous;
yea, our GOD is merciful.
The LORD preserveth the simple:
I was brought low, and He helped me.
Return unto thy rest, O my soul;
for The LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.
For thou hast delivered my soul from death,
mine eyes from tears,
and my feet from falling.
I will walk before The LORD
in the land of the living.
I believed, therefore have I spoken:
I was greatly afflicted:
I said in my haste,
All men are liars.
What shall I render unto The LORD
for all His benefits toward me?
I will take the cup of salvation,
and call upon the name of The LORD.
I will pay my vows unto The LORD
now in the presence of all His people.
Precious in the sight of The LORD
is the death of His saints.
O LORD, truly I am thy servant;
I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid:
thou hast loosed my bonds.
I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving,
and will call upon the name of The LORD.
I will pay my vows unto The LORD
now in the presence of all His people,
In the courts of The LORD's house,
in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem.
Praise ye The LORD.

Psalm 115
Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us,
but unto thy name give glory,
for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake.
Wherefore should the heathen say,
Where is now their god?
But our GOD is in the heavens:
He hath done whatsoever He hath pleased.
Their idols are silver and gold,
the work of men's hands.
They have mouths, but they speak not:
eyes have they, but they see not:
They have ears, but they hear not:
noses have they, but they smell not:
They have hands, but they handle not:
feet have they, but they walk not:
neither speak they through their throat.
They that make them are like unto them;
so is every one that trusteth in them.
O Israel, trust thou in The LORD:
He is their help and their shield.
O house of Aaron, trust in The LORD:
He is their help and their shield.
Ye that fear The LORD, trust in The LORD:
He is their help and their shield.
The LORD hath been mindful of us: He will bless us;
He will bless the house of Israel;
He will bless the house of Aaron.
He will bless them that fear The LORD,
both small and great.
The LORD shall increase you more and more,
you and your children.
Ye are blessed of The LORD
which made heaven and earth.
The heaven, even the heavens, are The LORD'S:
but the earth hath He given to the children of men.
The dead praise not The LORD,
neither any that go down into silence.
But we will bless The LORD
from this time forth and for evermore.
Praise The LORD.

Psalm 114
When Israel went out of Egypt,
the house of Jacob from a people of strange language;
Judah was His sanctuary,
and Israel His dominion.
The sea saw it, and fled:
Jordan was driven back.
The mountains skipped like rams,
and the little hills like lambs.
What ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest?
thou Jordan, that thou wast driven back?
Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams;
and ye little hills, like lambs?
Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of The LORD,
at the presence of the GOD of Jacob;
Which turned the rock into a standing water,
the flint into a fountain of waters.

Psalm 113
Praise ye The LORD.
Praise, O ye servants of The LORD,
praise the name of The LORD.
Blessed be the name of The LORD
from this time forth and for evermore.
From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same
The LORD's name is to be praised.
The LORD is high above all nations,
and His glory above the heavens.
Who is like unto The LORD our GOD,
who dwelleth on high,
Who humbleth Himself to behold
the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!
He raiseth up the poor out of the dust,
and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;
That He may set him with princes,
even with the princes of His people.
He maketh the barren woman to keep house,
and to be a joyful mother of children.
Praise ye The LORD.

Psalm 112
Praise ye The LORD.
Blessed is the man that feareth The LORD,
that delighteth greatly in His commandments.
His seed shall be mighty upon earth:
the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
Wealth and riches shall be in his house:
and his righteousness endureth for ever.
Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness:
he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.
A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth:
he will guide his affairs with discretion.
Surely he shall not be moved for ever:
the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.
He shall not be afraid of evil tidings:
his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.
His heart is established, he shall not be afraid,
until he see his desire upon his enemies.
He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor;
his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.
The wicked shall see it, and be grieved;
he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away:
the desire of the wicked shall perish.

Psalm 111
Praise ye The LORD.
I will praise The LORD with my whole heart,
in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.
The works of The LORD are great,
sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.
His work is honourable and glorious:
and His righteousness endureth for ever.
He hath made His wonderful works to be remembered:
the LORD is gracious and full of compassion.
He hath given meat unto them that fear Him:
He will ever be mindful of His covenant.
He hath shewed His people the power of His works,
that He may give them the heritage of the heathen.
The works of His hands are verity and judgment;
all His commandments are sure.
They stand fast for ever and ever,
and are done in truth and uprightness.
He sent redemption unto His people:
He hath commanded His covenant for ever:
holy and reverend is His name.
The fear of The LORD is the beginning of wisdom:
a good understanding have all they that do His commandments:
His praise endureth for ever.
