Ye shall not therefore oppress one another; but thou shalt fear thy God: for I am the LORD your God.
Wherefore ye shall do my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; and ye shall dwell in the land in safety.
If one of your countrymen becomes poor and is unable to support himself among you, help him as you would an alien or a temporary resident, so he can continue to live among you. (NIV)
Take thou no usury of him, or increase: but fear thy God; that thy brother may live with thee.
If one of your countrymen becomes poor among you and sells himself to you, do not make him work as a slave. (NIV)
